The Undergraduate Specialties of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages
重庆交通大学汉语国际教育专业为四年制本科学历教育，学生修满学分并符合相应条件可获得重庆交通大学本科毕业证书和中华人民共和国教育部颁发的学士学位证书。该专业致力于培养通用型汉语人才、汉语经贸人才和汉语教育人才。
The undergraduate specialties of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is a 4-year program. Students who get full credit points are awarded the undergraduate diploma issued by Chongqing Jiaotong University, and the bachelor’s degree issued by the Education Ministry of the People’s Republic of China（MOE）.
The program aims to cultivate the inter-disciplinary Chinese talents, Chinese business personnel, and Chinese language teachers.

Chinese Training Programs at Chongqing Jiaotong University
重庆交通大学汉语培训中心设有各种类型汉语培训班：短期班（1-3个月），中期班（4-6个月），长期班（6个月以上）。可开展初、中、高级汉语培训，HSK考试培训，可根据要求定制各种汉语课程。
The training centre provides different sorts of Chinese learning and training courses, including the short-term training classes ranging from 1 to 3 months; the middle-term training classes for 4-6 months and long-term ones for above 6 months. We launch beginners’ training, intermediate training and advanced training courses, and specialized HSK pre-test training. And we can develop and design various training courses of Chinese language according to different requirements.

The Chinese Language Training Centre commits to the improvement of the trainees’ Chinese proficiency within a comparatively short term, and can offer specially-designed Chinese language courses to meet the requirements of individuals or corporations.

重庆交通大学汉语培训中心开设一周到一月的汉语夏令营等游学课程，让学员在中国文化的沉浸式体验中学习和品味汉语。
The Chinese Language Training Centre at Chongqing Jiaotong University develops Chinese language summer camps from 0ne-week to one-month. The study tour helps campers learn Chinese and appreciate Chinese by immersing in Chinese culture.

二、审核录取Assessment & Admission
1.学生申请材料受理，大约需要2周——1个月时间。
2.对合格人员寄发《录取通知书》、《入学须知》和《外国留学生来华签证申请表》。
3.留学生本人持《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》到中国驻外使领馆办理来华签证。
Ø The application documents will be forwarded to the School of Humanities, which will decide whether the candidate is qualified or not. During this period, the candidate may be required to supply more documents to prove his or her academic level or to prepare an examination and an interview. It will take 2 week to 1 month as usual.
Ø If a candidate has been admitted, the University will send the visa form, the enrollment letter to the candidate by express mail according to the address on the Application Form.
Ø The candidate has to hold the visa form, the enrollment letter and Physical Record to Chinese Embassy or consulate in foreign country to get the student visa (X visa). Then the candidate can enter P. R. China legally.
